We accept students into our Adults and Teens Wushu class from ages 12 years and above. Students of all levels participate in the same classes. Most of the class is practiced as a group with the last portion of the class reserved for individual practice based on experience.

Adults and Teens Wushu Classes are currently offered on Mondays from 6:30pm-8:00pm and Saturdays from 1:30pm-2:30pm and Light Contact Sparring with Applied Internal Principals class is every Wednesday from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Full schedule can be found on the calendar

Why practice Wushu?

There are a multitude of benefits that students gain from regular training in Wushu, including:

  • Development of body awareness and coordination
  • Promotes physical health by development of strength, flexibility, stamina, and overall mobility
  • Character development (such as respect, discipline, and focus) learned through inherent emphasis of the “Wude 武德” (Martial Morality) during training
  • Development of fellowship fostered by partner/teamwork and shared experiences during training.

  • Forms Practice (Wednesdays sparring)

 

*It is recommended that you bring your own kickboxing gear to class. Boxing gloves (no MMA gloves) and shin guards are advised. If you do not have your own gear and you plan to attend this classes regularly, it is recommended that you invest in a set.
